Insured Employer

Almost all employers in the state of Colorado are required to carry workers’ compensation insurance or to prove to the Colorado State government that they have enough money to pay for workers’ compensation benefits if a worker is injured.  An employer who buys workers’ compensation insurance to cover a worker in the event they are injured is an “insured employer”.
