Level I Accredited Physician

A Level I accredited physician is a medical doctor or chiropractor who has been approved by the Division of Workers’ Compensation to provide primary care to injured workers who have been unable to return to work for more than three working days (Lost time injuries).  The Level I accreditation program is voluntary for medical doctors, but mandatory for chiropractors.  (Section 8-42-101(3.5-3.6), C.R.S.).
